Alpacas of Indian Point Hills

Aurora is our first cria sired by Snow Diamond Beaujolais and we just love her. She has a beautiful head style. She stands on a sturdy frame. Her fleece is a lovely dark brown with black points. She has splashes of gray on her hip and shoulder so she could develop into a roan. With Columbo as her Grandsire it would not be all that surprising. Interesting color for sure. Lots of color in the background for this one.
Her fleece is coming in nicely and architecture is starting to develop.
The genetics behind Aurora are some of the best. Beau brings none other than Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose as Grandsire. Moms line adds Grand River Coloumbo and Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud.
She is one to keep an eye on.
Aurora did well in her first shows. She was entered in Bred and Owned in both Rail Splitter and IAFF. She received a blue in both shows.
She is unique in her coloring and doesn't really fit in either brown or roan. She has splashes of gray but not enough to be a roan and too much for a brown class. The judges complimented her frame and head style. They loved the fineness of her fleece and said she is fairly uniform in style even into the gray. She will be fun to breed when of age and should really work well in a gray program.
